KARHU and Engineered Garments reunite for their third collaboration. Drawing from KARHU’s rich archive, Engineered Garments founder, Daiki Suzuki, seamlessly merges the iconic Mestari 76 running shoe with KARHU’s cross-country skiing shoe, the Sprint, in an eye-catching and asymmetric design. This collection features a more muted, earth-toned aesthetic that honours both brands’ storied history of craftsmanship.
Designed by Daiki Suzuki, The shoe features a unique, slip-on design with a secure cover and hook and loop closure system, which is inspired by another 80s KARHU cross-country skiing model.
Both colourways utilize hairy suede, suede and nylon in the upper for a premium finish. Additionally, both shoes have a leather lining, a leather-topped foam footbed with arch support, and collaborative branding on the tongue and footbed.
